Nobody was avoided by BJP's national leadership, claims K Surendran
Thiruvananthapuram: BJP president K Surendran denied reports that AP Abdullakutty was appointed as BJP National Vice President in order to attract minorities to the party. He said that BJP wants to attract people from all sections to the party and not just minority communities. He also said that he does not think that anyone was overlooked in the BJP national representatives list.
The central leadership decided on what role should be given to each individual. People like Kummanam Rajasekharan are working for the party without eyeing any position. He entered politics after giving up his position as the governor of a state. So, media should not insult people like him in the name of positions. Centre does not seek the opinion of the state leadership before taking such decisions, he added.
K Surendran alleged that the money received in Life Mission project has gone to the Chief Minister’s account. That is why the CM gets angry whenever Life Mission project is mentioned by someone. Investigation agencies have realized that FCRI regulations has been violated not just in Life Mission project.
Responding to the incident in which women, including artiste Bhagyalakshmi, attacked a man for the derogatoary videos he uploaded in social media, he said that the women in Kerala have to take law into their own hands to get justice in the state.
