Alappuzha: NCP executive council member Thomas K Thomas said that he has no plans to leave LDF. Thomas K Thomas told Mathrubhumi News that he would not leave LDF even if there are issues within the party. He responded in this regard when reports came that NCP is on the verge of split as Mani C Kappan is raising protest against handing over Pala seat.
There are no internal issues in NCP. It was only a story cooked up by the media. Mani C Kappan is expressing his opinion. He refuses to give Pala seat as he won from there. Even if it is Pala or Kuttanad, LDF will decide who will contest where.
The ongoing controversies are intended to destroy NCP. It is a conspiracy held by those outside the party in order to tarnish the victory in the local body election. Minister A K Saseendran and NCP state president had made it clear that there are no issues in the party.
Thomas K Thomas pointed out that it is the policy of LDF not to leave their sitting seat. No matter what happens, we will stand with LDF giving strength to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan till the last moment, he added.
