No other links to Nemom other than being MLA once, says O Rajagopal
Thiruvananthapuram: BJP leader and Nemom MLA O Rajagopal on Tuesday said that he has no connection to the constituency other than being the MLA once. He was responding to the question by reporter regarding the election situation here.
The people have been wishing for a change from both LDF and UDF. They have voted for it, he added.
Reacting to the incident of stone pelting at the vehicle of UDF candidate in Nemom, K Muraleedharan, Rajagopal said that it shouldn’t have happened. He also claimed it was only allegations that BJP workers were behind the attack.
When asked about Muraleedharan alleging BJP workers attacked him fearing defeat, Rajagopal said that if the former has said something like that it might be true.
Rajagopal is the incumbent MLA in Nemom. BJP has been pinning their hopes in the Assembly seat here. However, it is to be noted that Rajagopal’s cold response came on the day of the election.
