Malappuram: Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama president Sayyid Muhammad Jifri Muthukkoya Thangal stated that the reports on the disputes between Samastha and Muslim League are baseless. He made it clear that both of them are together at all times.

Jifri Thangal was addressing the media after meeting Muslim League state president Panakkad Hyderali Shihab Thangal. Some media had reported that League leaders threatened Prof K Alikutty Musliyar and imposed a ban on him. Jifri Thangal reacted to this.

Jifri Thangal also said that there is no controversy over Umer Faizy Mukkam’s presence in the mass contact programme of the chief minister. He stated that nobody stopped Alikutty Musliyar and he returned due to physical discomfort.
