No entry into Secretariat if body temperature exceeds 37.2 degrees, as per new order

Thiruvananthapuram: Strict restrictions have been put in place in Secretariat as part of COVID-19 prevention activities. The Public Administration department has issued an order banning all visitors in Secretariat until further notice. People coming for official purpose should produce concerned documents. Others can only enter the area with prior permission from the officers. The new arrangements shall be put in place from Friday.

Employees will be allowed to enter Secretariat after testing their body temperature. Employees with body temperature exceeding 37.2 degree Celsius will not be allowed. Their name and address will be taken and handed over to Disha helpline.

Vehicles will be allowed only through the cantonment area. The employees, however, can enter through the south west gate. Both cantonment gate and south west gate can be used for exit purpose. All other gates shall remain completely closed. The order also says that all employees should wear identity cards.
