Idukki: Former minister and Udumbanchola MLA MM Mani on Wednesday said that the late MLA PT Thomas persecuted CPM.
"No one has persecuted CPM like PT Thomas. We can't praise him because he is dead. Condolences are offered only due to decency," he said in a programme organised by CPM in Idukki.
PT Thomas troubled the Idukki district in the name of the Kasturirangan report. He, along with Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan and Oommen Chandy, charged me with a fake case, Mani said.
PT Thomas was the Idukki DCC president for a while when MM Mani served as the district secretary of CPM.
