Attingal: Kerala State Road Transport Corporation refrained from taking action against the woman conductor who verbally abused passengers for boarding the bus when she was having lunch inside. KSRTC conductor and Varkala native Sheeba shouted at the passengers and asked them to get out of the bus when the bus was parked at Chirayinkeezhu bus station.

KSRTC had conducted a preliminary probe and handed over the report to higher authorities the same day of the incident. However, no action followed.

The officials of Attingal depot had directed the conductor to report there when the bus returned from Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday. However, the conductor left home without giving explanation at the depot.

Police stopped the bus on its way to Thiruvananthapuram after receiving visuals shared to them by a passenger. The cops returned after enquiring about the incident with the KSRTC driver, who was on duty. Though the police probed whether any of the passengers had any complaint, no one was willing to come forward. Hence, no case was reported, said Inspector GB Mukesh. KSRTC officials have not sought report from the police.
