Thiruvananthapuram: Finance Minister Thomas Issac, on Tuesday, appeared before the Assembly Committee on Privileges and Ethics and said that there was no breach of privilege in disclosing the matters of the CAG report against KIIFB.

Speaking to the media, Isaac said that he is ready to accept any action taken by the committee. The meeting between the minister and the committee lasted for over 1.5 hours.

He said that the Comptroller and Auditor General report against Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) was disclosed to the public to initiate discussions on it.

“I am not embarrassed that I had to appear in front of the committee. I am ready to accept any action. This was an opportunity to explain the matter before the committee. The matters mentioned in the report were first disclosed by CAG to the media. I only resisted this,” he added.
