Thiruvananthapuram: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) will interrogate minister K T Jaleel again in connection with the gold smuggling case. They will question Jaleel after interrogating Swapna Suresh, key accused in the case. NIA officials will take Swapna Suresh in custody on September 22.

The officials will ask about the phone call details of the minister. The NIA will also inquire about the foreign trips of the minister. They will investigate about who accompanied the minister during his foreign trips and whom did he meet abroad and similar details.

The minister had earlier told the probe team that he has only official contact with UAE consulate and Swapna Suresh. However, the investigation team has not believed this completely. They suspect that the minister had more than official relationship with them.
