NIA continues to search properties of PFI affiliates in Kollam

Kollam: The National Investigation Agency continues its crackdown on the banned organisation, the Popular Front of India. On the second day of the fresh raids in the district, they raided the house of a PFI wellwisher.

On Wednesday morning, NIA searched the house of Nisarudheen in Chathanamkulam. He was not at home during the raid. NIA said it collected a diary and Aadhaar documents from the house. Nisarudheen runs a furniture shop in the area.

It is learnt that he was not an active member of the organisation but a well-wisher.

NIA had taken an autorickshaw driver from the district into custody on Tuesday.
