Neyyanttinkara murder: DySP moves anticipatory bail plea
Thiruvananthapuram: DySP B Harikumar, the accused in the Neyyanttinkara murder case, has moved an anticipatory bail plea at the Thiruvananthapuram sessions court. Currently he is absconding.
Neyyatinkara native Sanal Kumar (32) was killed in a road accident after being pushed by DySP B Harikumar towards a moving car on Monday. The incident took place following a verbal spat between the two over vehicle parking.
At the same time, Sanal’s autopsy report said the reason for his death as the damages caused to his head including cerebral contusion. He had suffered head injury when he fell down. Broken skull resulted in breaking of the veins. Also his spinal cord and hand were fractured, the report said.
Police have registered a case against DySP for murder. Soon after, he was suspended from service. Since then he is absconding.
