Nepotism row: No vigilance inquiry against KT Jaleel says govt
Thiruvananthapuram: The state government on Wednesday said that there would not be vigilance enquiry against K T Jaleel on the nepotism row. The government decided not to conduct investigation based on the petition filed by youth congress leader P K Firoz.
Though P K Firoz filed a complaint on the nepotism issue earlier, there was no information about the action taken by government on this. The government then handed over the complaint to the vigilance department. The decision not to carry out vigilance enquiry is taken by this department.
The government has made clear its stance based on the response received by P K Firoz under RTI act. Reason behind the decision is not mentioned in this reply. However, it is learnt that P K Firoz is moving court against the decision.
