Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition Leader Ramesh Chennithala on Thursday reiterated that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and former Minister for Higher Education and Minority Welfare KT Jaleel were equally guilty of hatching conspiracy for the appointment the latter’s relative K T Adeeb as general manager of Kerala State Minorities Development Finance Corporation.

Taking to Facebook, Chennithala stated that the move of government to approach High Court with writ petition against the Lokayukta verdict, which had found Jaleel guilty of abusing power, based on the legal advice from Advocate General so as to save CM is humiliating.

Chennithala further stated that if there was a bit sense of democracy and morality left in Chief Minister, he should resign.
