Nepotism is indeed corruption, says CPI mouthpiece
Thiruvananthapuram: Making clear the CPI’s stand on the recent appointment row, party mouthpiece Janayugom wrote in its editorial that nepotism in itself amounts to corruption and the controversies that casts a shadow on the image of the LDF should be rooted out.
The editorial said favouritism and appointments made by means of this are totally unjust in front of a huge highly educated and jobless population. In this context, mere excuses and the preaching of rivals’ corruption stories will be of no use, it said.
The mistakes and lapses should be corrected and the Front should ensure such incidents do not recur, the daily said.
