Kannur: In response to the recent controversy about the NCP switching political fronts, CPM state secretary A Vijayaraghavan said that the LDF gives importance to the NCP and not to Mani C Kappan.
Vijayaraghavan added that Muslim League is utilising religion for political gains and making huge profit. He was speaking to Mathrubhumi News ahead of the Vikasana Munnetta Yatra in Kannur.
The rally is taking place in a very historic moment in the state. The LDF government has completed the best possible administration in the past five years. The Keralites will support the LDF for continuity of governance, he said.
To the question about bringing back Mani C Kappan to LDF, Vijayaraghavan responded that LDF gives more importance to NCP as a party and not to Mani C Kappan. NCP has not yet stated about any tough stand or opinion in the LDF, Vijayaraghavan said.
