Kozhikode: Transport Minister AK Saseendran on Wednesday said that no discussion on NCP switching fronts took place. The party is of the stance that it requires all four seats in the Assembly election, he added.
Saseendran also said that he believes none from the party will join UDF and that he was unaware of the discussions held in the meeting between senior NCP leader Praful Patel and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
Speaking to the media here, Saseendran said no discussion on switching fronts took place in the party and that he does not want to comment on some rumours doing rounds.
A detailed response will be given after the discussions between the party's state leaders and national leadership, he added.
As per reports, the CM has informed Patel that the Pala seat will not be given to NCP leader Mani C Kappan. He would be offered the Kuttanad seat. Following this, NCP national leadership called in state president TP Peethambaran Master to Delhi. Saseendran was responding in this regard.
