Natives trash vehicles of devotees visiting alleged sorcerer in Kozhikode

Perambra: The vehicles of devotees of an alleged sorcerer were vandalised by the natives here on Friday.

Ravi has been managing the Charuparambil Bhagavathi temple and a Sree Muthappan Madappura for the past 13 years. Few months ago, an action committee was formed in the locality saying Ravi is practising sorcery. They conducted a protest march to the temple.

On Friday, a group of people attacked the vehicles of the visitors to the temple. The windshield of an auto rickshaw was broken and the sheets in the rear were torn by the natives. A car was also attacked.

Police have registered a case against the attackers.
