Narrow escape for woman who tried to board running train in Tirur

Tirur: A woman passenger who attempted to board a running train at Tirur station had a narrow escape from a fatal accident. A Railway Protection Force officer who was present at the spot rushed to stop her from falling onto the track.

RPF shared the CCTV visual of the incident on its Twitter account.

The woman was attempting to jump into the Shornur-Kannur MEMU at around 5.30 am at Tirur station. She fell on to the platform after failing to get a grip on the coach. RFP head constable E Satheesan was present at the spot.

RPF rewarded Satheesan for his act.
