Kasaragod: A 36-year-old man had a narrow escape on Tuesday after a truck which lost control rammed into his two-wheeler at Kattakkal near Kalanad in Kasaragod. The man has been identified as M Hareesh, a native of Kasaragod. The incident took place around 4 pm.
As per reports, the truck, carrying grapes, en route to Kanhangad, lost control and ran over the bike. However, Hareesh managed to leap aside on time, thereby dodging the truck.
Following which, locals rushed to the spot and took the man to a private hospital after he complained of leg pain. According to doctors, Hareesh suffered a fracture on his right leg and is otherwise stable. Soon after, he was shifted to another hospital in Anangoor by his friends.
Meanwhile, the truck driver, a Maharashtra native, managed to escape without any injuries. The police have not registered a case into the incident.
