N. K. Premachandran’s private bill is not beneficial, says Sabarimala Karma Samithi
Pathanamthitta: Sabarimala Karma Samithi on Thursday said that the private bill introduced by N. K. Premachandran MP in connection with the Sabarimala women entry issue was not beneficial.
Sabarimala Karma Samithi leader K. P. Sasikala said that they were MPs during the previous term and their present actions cannot cheat Ayyappa devotees.
“We will send a report to the central government seeking to formulate laws in the Sabarimala women entry issue. Hindu religious leaders are holding discussions with popular advocates in this regard,” she said.
Sabarimala Karma Samithi observed that the LDF found out that their humiliating loss in the assembly election was a result of the Sabarimala issue.
Sabarimala Karma Samithi convened the meeting on Thursday after the central government indicated that it was not going to formulate laws regarding the Sabarimala issue immediately.
