Thiruvananthapuram: Police did not reveal much about the mysterious death of a 20-year-old girl at Pattom on Thursday. Initial reports suggest suicide but there is no official confirmation.
According to police, clarity on what really happened will come to light only once the autopsy report is available. The officials are probing whether the death is related to online gaming as the girl was seen locked up in the room most of the time.
Sandra, a native of Plamoodu, was found dead inside her room at 7 pm. She was inside the room the whole day and did not respond to family members call. They had to push open the door to get inside. Her mouth was seen sealed with a cellotape and her nose was clipped. Though family members rushed her to hospital, she was declared brought dead.
Meanwhile, funeral of the deceased will be held on Friday.
