MVD inspects school buses across Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Motor Vehicles Department began a five-day inspection of school buses on Monday.

The buses will be inspected at school after dropping off the children in the morning. It will be completed before school closes.

RTO, sub RTO and enforcement wings will take part in the inspection. Functioning of the engines, wiring, fire safety measures, emergency exit, first aid box and speed governors will be checked. They will also inspect if more students than the capacity of the bus are being transported on it.

The inspection will continue until Friday
