Thiruvananthapuram: CPM state secretary MV Govindan strongly criticized Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala for his persistent attacks on the financial aspects of artificial intelligence-enabled surveillance cameras. MV Govindan accused the former opposition leader of consistently spreading lies about the financial affairs of AI cameras and deriding the general public.

“If not satisfied with KELTRON’s reply, why don’t they file an appeal in the court?” asked Govindan.

KELTRON is an institution which takes up numerous projects in different states. The release of commercial details can affect KELTRON’s competency. This has restrained the company from revealing its confidential details via the Rights to Information Act.

Though Ramesh Chennithala accused the relatives of CM of being involved in the contracts of KELTRON, he has not disclosed any evidence to prove this, alleged Govindan.
