'Murder weapons' to kill ethnic healer Shaba found from Shaibin's Bathery house

Sultan Bathery: Police recovered the weapons believed to be used for killing Shaba Shareef (61), an ethnic healer from Mysuru. The weapons were found in the house of prime accused Shaibin Ashraf at Manthondikunnu here. However, the police have not confirmed it officially. They said crucial evidence have been found and since it may affect the investigation, more details cannot be revealed.

Shaibin and his manager Shihabudheen were taken to the location to collect evidence. The weapons were found from the rooftop of the house. The weapons included a machete used for cutting meat and four small knives. The house and premises were searched by police. But no other evidence was found.

Shaibin and friends used to gather here all the time, locals say. However, since he was not social, they haven't seen him much. Their presence was noticed by seeing cars parked outside. They were in the house during the lockdown as well.
