Mullappally Ramachandran alleges secret deal between O Rajagopal and CPM
Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran has alleged that there is a secret deal between O Rajagopal and CPM. He was responding over O Rajagopal’s confession that he won from Nemom seat in 2016 polls with the support of Congress.
Mullappally also pointed out O Rajagopal’s move to vote in favour of assembly Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan.
“We realised Rajagopal’s deal with CPM when he supported the Speaker in the assembly. Rajagopal voted in favour of him and justified his stance by saying that the Speaker’s name carried the names of Lord Ram and Lord Krishna,” criticised Mullappally.
He added that Congress has no plans to resurrect Sabarimala issue as the trump card for assembly election and noted that Congress leaders only declared their stance when Sabarimala issue turned into a debating topic.
The KPCC president also raised a sharp criticism against CPM leaders for making contradictory statements over the Sabarimala issue. He asked the CPM to clear whether they follow the stance of Yechury or CM or Kadakamappally.
Mullappally alleged that the crime branch registered a case against ED as a part of the strategy to seek public attention amid the polls.
