New Delhi: A new bench headed by Justice MR Shah will consider the petitions related to the Mullaperiyar dam. As part of this, a bench headed by Chief Justice MV Ramana asked the registry to list the petitions before the new bench.

The petitions are transferred to the new bench with the retirement of justice MV Khanwilkar.

On the other day, Save Kerala Brigade’s lawyer Wils Mathews requested the bench headed by the CJI to consider their plea on Mullaperiyar dam’s safety. Considering this request, the CJI asked the registry to list the pleas before the bench headed by justice MR Shah.
