Malappuram: A mudslide occurred on Panthalloor hill on Thursday following the incessant rains at Anakkayam region. Around one acre of rubber plantation was destroyed in the mudslide.

Since it was not a residential area, a huge mishap was averted.

Meanwhile, 18 people from five families, including seven women, four men and seven children, were shifted to municipal town hall fearing landslide at Kottakunnu in Ernad taluk.
