Malappuram: Following the big failure of the United Democratic Students Federation (UDSF) in the students’ union election at Calicut University, the Muslim Students Federation (MSF) walked out of the alliance it had with Kerala Students Union (KSU).

The candidates of the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) had won in all the general seats of the students’ union at Calicut varsity. The move comes in wake of this.

MSF has planned to terminate the alliance with KSU completely. Because of this, MSF state general secretary PK Navas resigned from the post of UDSF convener. He handed over the resignation letter to UDF convener MM Hassan and Opposition leader VD Satheesan. KSU was incompetent in protecting its vote bank in Kozhikode, accused Navas.
