Moolamattam: A moving low-floor bus plying on the Thodupuzha-Puliyanmala route suddenly caught fire. The incident happened at Arakulam Kuruthikulam on Saturday morning when the bus suddenly was engulfed in fire and the passengers had a miraculous escape.
Smoke started coming out from the rear side of the bus and the driver stopped and evacuated all the passengers through the emergency exit.
Along with fireforce officials, local people too joined in extinguishing the fire. The bus was completely damaged in the fire.
