Motorbike used by Anoop Mohammad belongs to cricketer, who is a friend of Bineesh Kodiyeri


The cricketer, Jaffer Jamal, told Mathrubhumi News that his bike got stuck at the hotel during the lockdown and that he did not know that it was being used by Anoop.

Kochi: The Royal Enfield motorbike that was used by Anoop Mohammad, who has been arrested in connection with the drug bust case, belongs to a cricketer, who is a friend of Bineesh Kodiyeri.

The cricketer, Jaffer Jamal, told Mathrubhumi News that his bike got stuck at the hotel during the lockdown and that he did not know that it was being used by Anoop.

The bike bearing the registration number KL 01 CC 55, was found at hotel Royal Suites from where Anoop was caught with the drugs. Jaffer, who plays for Railways, told Mathrubhumi News that he brought the bike to Bengaluru for his use and that he could not take it back due to the lockdown.

Jaffer also said that he used to stay at the hotel when he visited Bengaluru and that he has met Anoop there. However, Jaffer stated that he did not know if Anoop was using his bike or if it was under the custody of NCB. Earlier, Jaffer had played for Bineesh Kodiyeri’s BK 55 club.
