Palakkad: A woman and her son were found dead inside their house in Palappuram, Ottapalam. The deceased were identified as Saraswathy Amma (68) and Vijayakrishnan (48), residents of Palappuram.
According to preliminary assumption, the youth is likely to have committed suicide after killing his mother.
The dead bodies were found inside the bedroom of their house on Tuesday morning. Vijayakrishnan was found hanging in the room while his mother’s neck was slit.
The police have begun an investigation into the incident.
