Edappal (Malappuram): More than 20,000 people have been listed in the contact list of the two doctors in Malappuram, who tested positive for COVID-19. The list was prepared by the hospital following the instruction from the health department.

More than 10,000 people, including OP patients and relatives, are listed in the contact list of the paediatrician, along with 160 IP patients. Meanwhile, more than 5,500 IP and OP patients made contact with the second doctor.

This is the list of people they met after June 5. The paediatrician’s case is extremely worrisome as he was in contact with several children, including newborns.

All the people in the contact list have been instructed to quarantine themselves in their homes. Authorities have instructed to observe and identify those exhibiting symptoms and provide them necessary medical care. Also, 1000 people will be tested for COVID in the next two days.
