Kochi: Monson Mavunkal, who was arrested in connection with the antique fraud case, told the Crime Branch that he is not a cosmetologist. He stated that he had completed only beautician course and he carried out medical treatment based on this.
Monson revealed that the drugs he prescribed to his patients were made by combining various medicines available in the market.
Earlier, it had come to light that KPCC president K Sudhakaran and other public figures had received treatment from Monson.
Monson was produced before Ernakulam JCM court on Saturday at 3 pm. As the Crime Branch did not seek his custody, the court remanded him till October 9.
