Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC President Mullappally Ramachandran expressed dissatisfaction with the jumbo list of KPCC office-bearers. The party should not be led by a mob, instead there should be a strong leadership. In the press conference, he said that he thinks elected representatives should not be made office-bearers.
Mullappally Ramachandran’s response has come in the context of both the factions within Congress party giving a long list of party office-bearers. At a time when elected representatives do not even have enough time to focus on their constituency and their people, how can they carry out the responsibilities given by the party? he asks.
KPCC needs a strong leadership that can carry the party forward. Mullappally also said that he has added his remark against each and every office-bearer in the list and handed it over to the leadership. He also said that he has expressed his opinion on what should be the structure of the committee.
“Different leaders may have different opinions. But I have expressed my desire for a strong leadership. I have communicated with Sonia Gandhi in this regard. There will be a final decision soon.”
