MM Mani tests COVID-19 positive
Thiruvananthapuram: Minister for Electricity, MM Mani, has tested positive for COVID-19. He has been admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital. The minister’s private secretary was diagnosed with the disease last week.
MM Mani tested positive in the COVID test which was held on Wednesday. It is reported that he does not have any health difficulties.
Although MM Mani did not want to be hospitalised, the minister admitted as per protocol. MM Mani's private staff members have entered quarantine after the minister’s test result came out.
MM Mani is the fourth minister in the state to be tested COVID positive. Earlier, TM Thomas Isaac, VS Sunil Kumar and EP Jayarajan had tested positive.
