Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan has once again reiterated that ministers must brief him in person and answer his questions regarding the pending eight Bills that is lying before him.
Chief secretary VP Joy had recently met Khan in a bid to get the bills passed. However, the governor said that the ministers responsible for the Bills must pay him a visit.

But he refused to meet them saying the documents are in Raj Bhavan in the state capital. Khan did not respond to the letter from chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan regarding the pending Bills.
Ministers are likely to meet Khan at Raj Bhavan in the upcoming days. The governor will be back in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday.
The Bill to appoint independent chancellors to the universities in Kerala by removing the governor from the post, the controversial Lok Ayukta (Amendment) Bill, University Laws (Amendment) Bill to altar the formation of the search-cum-selection committee for vice-chancellor appointment and Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Bill are pending before Khan. He publicly expressed his disapproval to these bills earlier.
It may be noted that the governor had earlier approved ordinances on Lok Ayukta and cooperative societies without making any public comments. The same contents were introduced in the Assembly to replace the ordinance.
