Thiruvananthpuram: Minister MV Govindan said that as the spread of Covid in the state is increasing rapidly, local body-level war rooms will be strengthened to amplify preventive measures. Also, nodal officers would be appointed to lead the Covid preventive activities of the local bodies.
The war room is reviving because of the increase in TPR.
He also added that tips and advice for those in home isolation are given on time, and the activities of DCCs are going well.
Telemedicine and ambulance facilities are being provided to all. The minister said that the war rooms should be revived at the local body level to ensure that all these are in place.
Local self-government bodies have to find the money from their own or project funds.
