Kozhikode: BJP state president K Surendran demanded that Minister K T Jaleel should make it clear if he talked about food kit or gold kit when he called gold smuggling case accused Swapna Suresh. It has come to light the minister had called Swapna prior to the date mentioned now. Then his claims that he called her as directed by the UAE consulate are baseless, Surendran stated in a press meet here.
The statements made by minister K T Jaleel are confusing. He and his office are involved in gold smuggling. When we check his background, it is clear that he already has some links with terrorist orgnisations. So, these incidents cannot be neglected. K T Jaleel did not disclose earlier that he knew Swapna and called her. He should reveal the phone call records of two months for clarifying doubts, Surendran said.
Sarith had contacted the office of the chief minister many times. CM's principal secretary Sivasankar called him more times than Sarith called him back. These relations are suspicious. The chief minister should show some political decency and resign from his post. BJP and other parties will conduct a protest demanding resignation of the CM in the coming days, Surendran made it clear.
