Thiruvananthapuram: Minister K T Jaleel reacted to the arrest of MLA M C Kamaruddin in connection with the Fashion Gold Jewellery scam. He updated a post on Facebook stating God is great. He also wrote a proverb in Malayalam 'Chakkinu Vechathu Kokkinu Kondu' which means they are shooting at a wrong target.
The Muslim League had raised serious allegations against K T Jaleel in connection with the gold smuggling case. The party was continuing with their attack on Jaleel when their MLA Kamaruddin was arrested. With this, Jaleel put up the Facebook post giving a fitting reply to them.
Manjeshwaram MLA and Muslim League leader M C Kamaruddin was arrested on Saturday in connection with Fashion Jewellery scam. The arrest was recorded on the basis on 3 cases booked in Chanthera police station. There are a total of 115 cases registered in this issue and 77 of them are probed by SIT. The probe team made it clear that Rs 13 crore was swindled in the scam.
