Thiruvananthapuram: Minister for Industries E P Jayarajan has tested positive for COVID-19. He was home-quarantined in his residence in Kannur. His wife also tested COVID-19 positive.
E P Jayarajan is the second minister in Kerala to be infected with COVID-19. Finance Minister Dr Thomas Isaac had tested positive for the disease.
E P Jayarajan had attended the CPM state secretariat along with Thomas Isaac. After this, Thomas Isaac was confirmed with the disease. E P Jayarajan was in quarantine at his residence following this.
After testing positive for COVID, the minister was shifted to Pariyaram medical college.
