Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Transport Minister Antony Raju condemned the strike of KSRTC employees in the state. He questioned the motive behind the strike which causes considerable loss to KSRTC revenue. The employees could have informed their complaints through other ways, the minister said.

He alleged that the protesting unions, including INTUC and BMS, had started the strike even before the discussions over the issue ended.

The minister asked if fuel price hike was the reason behind the strike then how could the government and KSRTC be held responsible. The price of spare parts increased by 20 per cent. Why do the protesters abstain from objecting against this hike, quizzed the minister.

Antony Raju accused hidden political motives behind the strike in view of the upcoming elections.
