Thiruvananthapuram: Two migrant workers were killed after they were hit by a train in Thumba on Tuesday. The deceased were identified as James Oran and Ganesh, both natives of West Bengal. According to preliminary investigation, the train hit the migrants when they were walking on the tracks and was on their mobile phone.
The body of the two were found on the tracks on Tuesday morning. Their mobile phones and headsets were recovered from the spot. The two construction workers lived in Chithiranagar.
The police team questioned the people residing with them. According to police, no foul play is suspected in their death. The bodies were shifted to the hospital after completing the preliminary procedures.
