Ernakulam: Two lovers aged above 50 years, who met after 35 years at a school reunion event, eloped together. The incident took place in Muvattupuzha, Ernakulam.
As per reports, the couple, who hails from Ernakulam and Idukki, decided to elope after planning for three weeks. Both of them are married and have children.
Meanwhile, the couple’s families lodged missing complaints with the police in their native districts. An investigation launched with the assistance of the cyber cell found that the couple was travelling through Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad and Velankanni.
Following this, the Muvattupuzha police summoned the lovers, who later arrived at the station on Saturday.
