Mathews T Raju and Kauthar Imam
Kottayam: At a time when trust in a relationship is becoming difficult every day, the story of a Malayali man and a girl from Morocco will touch people’s hearts. After meeting each other and falling in love in 2016, Mathews T Raju and Kauthar Imam got married after six years of their relationship.
The couple met while working at Atlanta Airlines in Saudi Arabia. Kauthar, who works in aviation, got attracted to Kerala too by the heritage, scenic beauty and the state’s excellence in tourism.
Mathews, a resident of Peruva and Kauthar registered their marriage at the Thalayolaparambu sub-registrar office. The couple held their wedding reception at Sevagram in Pothy.
Kaduthuruthy MLA Mons Joseph and district panchayat vice president TS Sarath attended the wedding among others and conveyed their wishes.
