Kozhikode: A student at the Meppadi polytechnic college in Wayanad was attacked on Monday night. Perambra native Abhinav was attacked at around 8:15 pm. He suffered head and arm injuries and was taken to the Kozhikode Medical College for treatment.

Meanwhile, bikes of two KSU activists who were remanded after the Meppadi scuffle were found burnt.

On Friday, police officials and SFI activist Aparna Gauri were injured in a fight during the union election at the Meppadi polytechnic college.
