Palakkad: MEMU special trains will start service from Monday. Passengers can travel on these trains without reservation.
Ernakulam junction-Shoranur junction (06018), Shoranur junction-Ernakulam (06017), Shoranur-Kannur (06023) and Kannur-Shoranur junction (06024) are the trains which will start operation from Monday.
On Monday, Ernakulam-Shoranur MEMU (06018) will depart at 6.35 pm from Ernakulam and arrive Shoranur at 8.50 pm.
Shoranur-Ernakulam MEMU (06017) will start at 3.30 am on Monday from Shoranur and reach Ernakulam at 6.50 am.
Shoranur-Kannur (06023) MEMU will start service from March 16, Tuesday. This train will not be operated on Sundays. The train which departs from Shoranur at 4.30 am will reach Kannur at 9.10 am.
Kannur-Shoranur (06024) will leave Kannur station at 5.20 pm and arrive its destination at 10.55 pm.
