Mathrubhumi's helping hand for flood affected students
Kozhikode: Flood not only devastated the properties and assets of people to various extent but also that of students. As the term examinations are approaching, students who survived the deluge are staring at the tests without text books and other study materials.
Thousands of students are awaiting help in flood affected areas to resume their studies after water receded from their houses and schools. State government is preparing to arrange text books to students who lost them. However, they still need other study materials like notebooks, pen, pencil, instrument boxes, rain coats and much more.
To help kids to resume their studies as normal as before, join hands with ‘Mathrubhumi’ in its flood relief initiative ‘Keralathinoru Kaithangu’ (A helping hand for Kerala). Mathrubhumi will distribute materials collected from individuals, groups and charity organisations to children of flood affected areas.
Helps and study materials for students will be received at all Mathrubhumi offices from August 15. For more details: 9656156000
