Thiruvananthapuram: Mathrubhumi has bagged newspaper-media awards instituted by Prem Nazir Suhruth Samithi in four categories.
Mathrubhumi News won the award for the best news channel.
Veena Chirakkal, Senior Content Writer at Mathrubhumi Online, bagged the award for the series "Vilakkano Laikhika Vidhyabyassam."
S Prem Sasi of Mathrubhumi News bagged the award for Best News Cameraman.
Akhin Maria of Neeleshwaram Bureau of Mathrubhumi newspaper won an award for Best Regional Reporter.
The media awards have been instituted jointly by Prem Nazir Suhruth Samithi and the TMC Institute of Mobile Technology. The award committee decided on the winners after reviewing news reports published between January 1 2022, and December 31, 2022.
