Kochi: The private hospital managements have clarified that they are ready to pay the salary fixed by government to nurses.
The decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of representatives of private hospital managements in Kochi.
“Even though the present salary fixed by the government is high, we are ready to pay this. However, the government should be ready to take steps to end the nurses' agitation. The government should be ready to follow the directions issued by the High Court in this regard. We will discuss other demands in the meeting to be held on July 20,” the management representatives told mediapersons after the meeting.
The hospital managements have clarified that they will not close down the hospitals to deal with the agitation.
