Thiruvananthapuram: Congress legislator Mathew Kuzhalnadan has once again levelled allegations against CM Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter Veena Vijayan. Kuzhalnadan, in a media conference here on Wednesday, showed images to establish his accusation of Veena's connection with Jaik Balakumar, one of the directors of the company PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
The press meet was held as the CM had snubbed his allegations raised in the Kerala Assembly on the other day as 'blatant lies'.
According to Kuzhalnadan, the website of Exalogic Solutions Pvt Ltd under the directorship of Veena had featured Jaik as a mentor. However, when the Gold Smuggling Case emerged, it was removed from the website, he alleged. To corroborate the same, Kuzhalnadan displayed a screenshot of the website archive. Kuzhalnadan further elaborated on the website updates and modifications in the wake of the case.
On the back of this, Kuzhalnadan challenged the CM to prove his claims are false.
Gold smuggling case accused Swapna Suresh was working for a government project awarded to PwC when the case was registered.
